In a recent post Poll – Usefulness of Competition Notifications followers and readers of this website blog where requested to indicate whether they found notifications of book and writing competitions useful.
There has been minimal response therefore, unless there is any dramatic indication to the contrary, the decision has been taken to no longer publish any such notifications in this website blog.
The aim is to make the website as helpful and informative as possible consequently, it is pointless spending resource upon something that is not feeding into this purpose.
Thank you to all of you who regularly follow, read, or visit the site.

Sorry and surprised that you didn’t have more responses to your offer of competition information. Whether one was interested or not, it is always good to hear opinions. Thank you for your efforts and the information you provide on a regular basis!

Apologies for delay in responding Lucinda. Yes, I was surprised by the lack of response however, it implied there was little interest. I will reconsider should there be any change in interest (subsequent to this post, someone added to the poll with a ‘No’ response). The poll will remain open for another week.
